Rental Property Registration
The City of Denison has passed an ordinance requiring the registration and inspection of all residential rental units within the city limits of Denison.
The registration form must be filled out for each address that you own or manage. The Property Maintenance Check List identifies the inspection items that will be addressed. You may go through this self-inspection form and make note if your property significantly complies with this ordinance.
Over the next several months, you may be contacted for an on-site inspection.
The calendar year 2007 is an educational period, with actual enforcement taking place beginning January 1, 2008. You will receive another registration form later in the year to register and pay for the properties that you own or manage.
