The Denison Police Department is currently staffed with twelve sworn full time officers and seven civilian employees. In addition to providing police protection to the community the department also staffs and manages the County-Wide E-911 Center.
Chief Rod Bradley leads the department. Chief Bradley joined the department in 1980 as a patrol officer. He has served the department as night sergeant and Asst. Chief and was appointed as Chief of Police in June of 1992.
The Denison Police Department has three sergeants, Sgt. Ken Schwenn, Sgt. John Emswiler and Sgt. Alison Dorhout. Sgt. Schwenn and Sgt. Emswiler coordinate the narcotics investigations for the department and both are former D.A.R.E. officers. Sgt. Dorhout is currently assigned as the midnight supervisor and is the senior D.A.R.E. Instructor
