Communications

The Denison Police Department operates the Crawford County Communications Center. The Communications Center is the only public service answering point in Crawford County. It serves eight fire departments and their EMS first responders. The communications center dispatches the ambulances for Crawford County Memorial Hospital and is the lifeline for the Sheriffs Office, Denison, Manilla, Dow City and Charter Oak Police Departments.
