DARE

The Denison Police Department introduced the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) Program to the area schools in the fall of 1989. Officer Joe Ebner and Officer Tom Bauler currently serve as the departments instructors and they present the DARE program to the 5th grade students at the Denison Elementary, Zion Lutheran and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Schools.  Officer Ebner has been a certified DARE Instructor since 2011 while Officer Bauler has been a certified DARE Instructor since 2001.
